Families and youth walk in remembrance of unborn lives lost to abortion. Our local pregancy center benefits from your donation of diapers sizes 3, 4 or 5.
The two–mile walk begins at Peart Park (located next to the public library). The walk moves east along Florence Boulevard to the west end of the Tri Valley Plaza, and ends back at the park. There will be a rose laying ceremony after the walk.
You are invited to wear pink or blue in remembrance of the unborn. Arrive early to drop off diapers and receive a water bottle, pink and blue balloons and a pin.
Purchased or homemade family friendly signs are welcome. Defend Life signs will be provided.
A Walk For Life is held in many locations across the country on or near the anniversary of the Roe Vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolton rulings in January, 1973 which allowed abortion in all nine months of pregnancy. The Casa Grande Life Walk is being held in remembrance of the more than 59,644,746* lives lost in the United States since then. Click here to find a Walk For Life near you.
If interested in volunteering, donating towards materials for the walk, or if any questions about the walk, please email the walk coordinator(s) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
